PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis., (September, 2001) - Ocenco, Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of respiratory equipment for the military, maritime, mining, medical and chemical industries, announces the appointment of Viking Life Saving Equipment, a major international distributor based in Denmark, to distribute Ocenco's M-20.2 Emergency Escape Breathing Devices (EEBD).

VIKING's expertise is in the sales and distribution of life-saving equipment. Having more than 40 years of experience within the maritime industry, VIKING will be in position to supply the market of existing ships and new ship construction with this maintenance-free, SOLAS-approved emergency escape breathing device (EEBD) currently being supplied to Navy and Coast Guard vessels around the world.

VIKING will use their existing distribution network, and global sales system via their subsidiaries and agents as well as their network of 300 approved and authorized servicing stations to market the M-20.2 EEBD to international maritime and offshore users.

The Ocenco M-20.2 EEBD, designed for demanding maritime environments, provides a 15-year, maintenance-free service life and requires only visual inspection by shipboard personnel once every two years. No hydro-testing of the cylinder is ever required. No maintenance, combined with a 15-year service life provides the most cost effective SOLAS-approved EEBD available.
